Mt. Manaslu Expedition
Mt. Manaslu is one of the eight highest mountain in the world with an altitude of 8163m. This mountain is also known as “mountain of spirit”. This Expedition gives an exclusive experience of trekking in the northern Himalayan range in the Gorkha District of Nepal. It is an expedition for energetic and adventurous person. This expedition is suitable to those who are in great health condition and love to enjoy the wonders of the Himalayas. Wide range of fascinating snow capped mountains along with the livelihood of locals living in the Himalayas can be explored in this 42 days expedition.
One can explore the sanctuary to many highly endangered animals, including snow leopards and Red pandas in this region.
Detailed Itinerary

The itinerary is changeable and modifiable
After arriving in Kathmandu(1350m), you will be welcomed by our office representative and transfer you the hotel. Take your time to get refreshed and rest enough after hours of long journey to Kathmandu. Later you’ll be called to the hotel lobby to brief about your stay in Nepal.
The next day will be a day to look around the Kathmandu valley. You can do the shopping around the city. The equipment needed for climbing will be checked by your guide. In the evening, you’ll be briefed about the expedition and all sorts of necessary information about the expedition.
You will be briefed about the expedition at Nepal Tourism Board and the final packing will be done. Get prepared for the next day travel.
After having breakfast, you will be driven to Besisahar from Kathmandu. It will take about 6 to 7 hours to reach Besisahar but might depend on the traffic jam also. You will have overnight there.
After having breakfast, again you will be driven to Dharapani which is at an altitude of 1860m.
The next day, you will need to move towards Gowa which will takes about 6 to 7 hours of walking from Dharaoani. You will have a night over there.
After having breakfast, you will need to walk for about 7 hours to reach Bhimtang.
You will have a rest & acclimatization day in Bhimtang. You will be staying overnight there.
The next day you will need to start the trek early morning. You will need to cross the Larkya Pass of altitude 5215m. After passing the Pass you will have to trek down to Samdo 3875m with mountain views. It will take about 11 hours to get there.
You will need to walk for about 3 hours from Shamdo to reach Sama Gaon where you will have a night over.
From Sama Gaon you will need to trek to Manaslu Base Camp which will take about 4 hours of walk. You will be camping at the base camp.
From the 12th day you will be preparing and practicing to climb Mt. Manaslu. You will need to get prepared and climbing within these 21 days period. On the 33rd days your summit to MBC will end.
After the successful summit, you will need to return back. You will have breakfast and then trek down to Sama Gaon which takes about 3 hours.
The next day, you will have to trek to Namruing which takes about 5 to 6 hours. If requested you can fly to Kathmandu by helicopter from Sama Gaon.
After having breakfast, you will have to trek to Philim village which takes about 6 hours.
The next day, you will need to trek till Soti Khola which takes about 4 hours and then drive to Arughat.
After breakfast you will have to take tourist jeep/bus and then drive to Kathmandu which takes about 7 hours.
You will have a full day rest in Kathmandu. You can visit the local markets and get souvenirs for your loved ones from Nepal. You will have a debriefing in Nepal Tourism Board the same day or the other day to conclude your expedition.
You will have a full day rest in Kathmandu. You can even stroll around the Kathmandu valley and observe the cultural and heritage sites. In the evening you will need to pack your things for the next day flight.
The last day, you will be dropped to the Tribhuwan airport by our office representative or your guide.

- Cost of Extra Oxygen Bottles if needed to use 300USD per bottle.
