Langtang Trek

The Langtang trek is a short pleasant trek that starts from Syabrubensi. The Langtang valley which is also known as the Valley of Glaciers is one of the most beautiful place to visit in Nepal. The magnificent view of the Himalayas and the panoramic view across vast open valleys can be explored along the route of this trekking. Along with the scenic view one can also explore Nepalese tradition and culture.

Detailed Itinerary

After arriving in Kathmandu(1350m), you will be welcomed by our office representative and transfer you to your hotel. Take your time to get refreshed and rest enough after hours of long journey to Kathmandu. Later you’ll be called to the hotel lobby to brief about your stay in Nepal.

The next day will be a 7 to 8 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi with an altitude of 1550m. On the way you can enjoy the mountainous view. You will taken to the hotel you’ll be staying overnight by your tour guide.

Starting from Syabrubensi, the real trek starts. Crossing the bank of Langtang river and walking about 7 hours through the alpine forest you will reach Lama Hotel. You will be staying in a logde for the overnight.

The next day trekking from Lama Hotel starts. After 7 hours walk you will reach to Langtang village which is the headquarter of Langtang National Park. You will be staying overnight in one of the lodge here.

After having the breakfast and 3 to 4 hours walk through tiny ethnic Tibetan villages you will reach Kyangjing Gompa. Wide range views of the Dorje Larpa (6,990 m), Langtang Ri (6,370 m), Langtang Lirung (7,245 m) and Yala Peak (5,520 m) can be viewed.

The sixth day will be a full day in Kyangjing Gompa where you could rest as well as visit some of the monasteries and cheese factory around the area.

After having to spend a whole day in Kyangjing Gompa, the next day will be a 7-8 hours walk to Lama hotel. Trekking along the Langtang river and through Ghora Tabela will be done.

After 6-7 hours walk you will reach to Syabrubensi. Along the way you can enjoy breathtaking view of the mountain range.

Here is where the trek to Langtang ends. You will be taken back to your hotel where you will get time for yourself. In the evening, farewell dinner will be arranged by the company where to get to share your experience and trek to Langtang and overall stay in Nepal.

The last day, you will be dropped to the Tribhuwan airport by our office representative or your guide.
