Mardi Base Camp Trek

Mardi base camp trek is a total 11 days trek where you get to enjoy your quality of time along the high range Himalayas. This adventurous trek takes you to the high Annapurna range with amazing experience walking right at the bottom of towering peaks of Machhapuchare and Mardi himal.

Mardi Himal was exposed to the world by Col Jimmy Roberts and Mike Cheney when they explored the area looking for new fresh route around Annapurna region and discovered this beautiful spot of Mardi Himal. This trek takes you away from the city crowded areas where you can explore biodiversity of nature. You will get a chance to get more closer to the Himalayan range covered with snow within this 11 days trek.

Detailed Itinerary

After arriving in Kathmandu(1350m), you will be welcomed by our office representative and transfer you to your hotel. Take your time to get refreshed and rest enough after hours of long journey to Kathmandu. Later you’ll be called to the hotel lobby to brief about your stay in Nepal.

The very next day you will need to fly to Pokhara from Domestic airport which takes about 20 minutes. Then you will be driven to Kade by cab which takes about 1 hour. You will have an overnight in one of the lodge there.

Early morning you will have your breakfast and then you will have to head towards Dehurali which takes about 7 hrs by foot. You will have an over night there.

After the breakfast you will have a whole day to walk for Jungle trek. For this trek, lunch will be packed. You will get to explore the beauty of nature, flora and the fauna. The walk will be of around 6 hrs.

The next day you will have to walk to the low camp of Mardi himal which takes about 5 hours of walk. Here you can have a closer look of the snow capped mountains.

To get to the high camp of Mardi himal you will have to climb about 4 hours from the low camp.

The next day you will need to start trekking early morning. Walking for about 7 to 8 hrs you will reach the Base camp of Mardi himal. After that you will have to return back to High camp. You can enjoy the devastating range of Himalayas from the base camp. The walk will be of total 12 hrs.

The trek is about to end. You will need to walk back to Forest camp which takes about 8 hours of walk. Lunch will be packed.

The next day, trekking from forest camp to Pokhara will start. You will need to walk for about 6 hrs to reach Pokhara.

Here is where the trek to Mardi Base Camp trek ends. You will be taken back your hotel  where you will get time for yourself.

The last day, you will be dropped to the Tribhuwan airport by our office representative or your guide.
