Manaslu Trekking

Mt. Manaslu is one of the eight highest mountain in the world with an altitude of 8163m. This mountain is also known as “mountain of spirit”. This trip gives an exclusive experience of trekking in the northern Himalayan range in the Gorkha District of Nepal. It is a trek for energetic and adventurous person. This expedition is suitable to those who are in great health condition and love to enjoy the wonders of the Himalayas. Wide range of fascinating snow capped mountains along with the livelihood of locals living in the Himalayas can be explored in this trekking.

One can explore the sanctuary to many highly endangered animals, including snow leopards and Red pandas in this region.

Detailed Itinerary

After arriving in Kathmandu(1350m), you will be welcomed by our office representative and transfer you to your hotel. Take your time to get refreshed and rest enough after hours of long journey to Kathmandu. Later you’ll be called to the hotel lobby to brief about your stay in Nepal.

Early morning, you will need to drive to Soti Khola by bus which might take about 7 hours. You will have the overnight there.

The next day, you will need to start your trek from Soti Khola. You will be trekking for about 6 to 7 hours to reach Macha Khola.

After having breakfast at Macha Khola, you will need to go towards Jagat which takes about 6 to 7 hours by foot. You will have an overnight here.

The next day you will be heading towards Deng from Jagat. This will take about 6 to 7 hours by foot.

Early morning, you will have breakfast as per the schedule. After breakfast, you will have to walk towards Namruing which takes about 6 to 7 hours walk.

Trekking from Namrung will start on the 7th day. You will be heading towards Sama Gaon which takes about 6 to 7 hours.

You will have an acclimatization day at Sama Gaon. You can take rest in this day.

From Sama Gaon, you will need to start trekking. You will reach Samdo by about 4 to 5 hours.

Early morning you need to start your trekking at around 4 or 5am. You will need to pass via Samdo and then Dharamsala and through Larke pass to reach Bhimtang. The trekking will be of total 11 to 12 hours.

The next day, you will need to trek from Bhimtang to Tilije or either to Sirichaur where you will have a night over. It will take about 6 hours to reach there.

You will need to trek from Sirichaur for about 6 to 7 hours to reach Besisahar. You will be staying overnight at Besisahar.

It’s almost the end of the trek. You will be driven to Kathmandu from Besisahar by bus. You will be dropped to your hotel where you will be staying overnight.

You will have a full day rest in Kathmandu. You can even stroll around the Kathmandu valley and observe the cultural and heritage sites. You can visit the local markets and get souvenirs for your loved ones from Nepal. In the evening you will need to pack your things for the next day flight.

The last day, you will be dropped to the Tribhuwan airport by our office representative or your guide.
