Everest Base Camp Trekking is a trek for energetic and adventurous person. This trek is suitable to those who are in great health condition and love to enjoy the wonders of the Himalayas. Wide range of fascinating snow capped mountains along with the livelihood of people living in the Himalayas can be explored in this 18 days trekking.

On this 18 days Everest Base Camp trek, one can explore the mesmerizing history, culture and diversity of the people living in the mountain region. Away from the city crowd, you can explore wide glittering peaks including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori and Mt. Changtse.

After exploring the Himalayas, you can also explore the lifestyle of Sherpa community and get insider insight of rich cultural heritage of those people.

Detailed Itinerary

After arriving in Kathmandu(1350m), you will be welcomed by our office representative and transfer you to your hotel. Take your time to get refreshed and rest enough after hours of long journey to Kathmandu. Later you’ll be called to the hotel lobby to brief about your stay in Nepal.

The next day you will have a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla( altitude of 2804m) from where your actual trekking begins. After reaching to Lukla you have to walk for about 3 hours to reach your hotel in Phakiding where you are staying overnight.

After having breakfast in the morning, the next day journey will begin from Phakding. You will have to walk for about 6 to 7 hours to reach to Namche Bazaar having an altitude of 3440m. You will have lunch and dinner as per the schedule.

The next day will be a full day in Namche. You will have a acclimatization trek to Everest view lodge from where fascinating view of Everest and other mountain can be seen. After enjoying the view you will return back to Namche Bazaar.

After having a day in Namche you will have to walk for about 6 to 7 hours to go to Tengboche. At Tengboche you can visit Tengbuche Monastery. You will be having overnight in one of the lodge here.

Enjoying the mesmerizing view of nature you will have to walk for about 4 hours to reach Dingboche with an altitude of 4350m. After the few hours walk you will be staying here overnight.

On the 7th day you will have an acclimatization day at Dingboche. You will need to climb around 200m+ up and then return back to Dingboche.

After getting rest you will have to walk for about 5 hrs to go to Lobuche with an altitude of 4910m.

You will have a trek of about 4 hrs to Gorakshep (altitude of 5180 m) and take lunch at Gorakshep. After having lunch you will be going to Everest Base Camp(5360m). Here you can have closer look of Everest and return back to Gorakshep for night over.

Early morning after having breakfast you will have to climb to Kala Patthar(5550m) for about 3 to 4 hours. Then walk back for about 4 to 5 hours to Lobuche for the night stay.

You will need to walk for about 5 hours from the Lobuche base camp to reach high camp of Lobuche.

From the high camp you will have a summit to Lobuche Peak(6119m) and then return back to base camp.

The next day you will have to walk back to Dingboche which takes almost 5 to 6 hours.

The end of the trek begins. You will have to walk for about 6 hours to get to Monjo.

This is the last day in Solukhumbu. On this very day you will have to walk for about 5 hours to reach Lukla from where you will get your flight back to Kathmandu.

You will have a flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Your assigned guide will take you to your hotel. You will be taken back to your hotel where you will get time for yourself.

You will have a full day rest in Kathmandu. You can even stroll around the Kathmandu valley and observe the cultural and heritage sites. In the evening you will need to pack your things for the next day flight.

The last day, you will be dropped to the Tribhuwan airport by our office representative or your guide.
